DPSMUN 2009

We hear a hundred things, whether we truly believe them or not is entirely up to us. They say "Every experience counts and helps you learn and grow". I don't know if that is a famous proverb, but it is a line I've heard over a million times. So this time I presume I'm here to preach it. MUN is one such experience that I have been involved in for about 4 years and it has truly been a ride comparable to that of a rollercoaster. Both ups and downs. But that has never blinded my love and passion for it.

DPSMUN 2009 is going to be no less a wild ride! All I wish to tell everyone participating in this MUN is to enjoy every moment, work hard, socialize and never keep thinking that it is only the award that matters. Awards will come and go. We are all here because we have a hidden talent in us and so we are definitely going to achieve 'an award' at some point in our lives. But that award would become futile if we don't make the most of that experience.

Model United Nations is an enormous event, a platform that teaches us so much. Let us truly enjoy this experience and work towards its success together.
