With Sustainability being high on national agenda throughout Middle East and especially UAE through Expo 2021, Delhi Private School, Sharjah, as part of this initiative, endeavors to provide a platform for students to indulge in meaningful and gainful dialogue, sensitize them on critical contemporary global issues.
The 9th edition of OPINIONS, a prestigious annual event has been upscaled to a level of greater student engagement and deliberations with the introduction of Youth GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT 2022. The Summit aims to increase awareness of the challenges faced by humanity on a global scale and elevate ambitions among students to prepare themselves on taking strategic collective sustainable solutions, with focused and clear paths to achieve greater goals.
Students of Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 from UAE and schools based overseas, representing as Delegates and Dignitaries of various countries, corporates and international bodies and agencies of civil society will form members of Councils addressing specific global issue.
Youth Global Solutions Summit 2022 focusses on five global issues with a call for a meet of the following councils:
• Space Sciences Council
• Healthcare Council
• Business Council
• Earth and Climate Change Council
• Education council

Goals of the Councils:
• Student delegates through deliberations and dialogues accentuate areas of greater dominance, create a shared vision, determine the imperatives for change, establish sustainable principles to guide future actions, foster new or improved relationships with all stakeholders and enable lasting change.
• The Plans of Action agreed and drafted by the Councils would be reviewed by a panel of experts. Panelists of the Summit are among eminent leaders from the above fields.
