Dear Parents/Students,

This year is one that has begun auspiciously for us. We have secured the top two positions in the UAE in the All India Secondary School Examination for Grade 12. Our students are achieving excellence in a vast number of fields. One can safely say that the letters D-P-S have now become synonymous with quality.

This year DPS plans to scale even greater heights and achieve even more. Our students are bravely coming to the forefront and accepting responsibility in activities and shall learn to lead in the responsible fashion that is required. Thus, this year the Editorial Board in collaboration with the Computer Club has brought out the first edition of the webzine in such grand fashion.

This webzine has been a collective effort of all the students under the able supervision of their teacher advisors. Moreover, the Webzine has a new and aesthetically pleasing avatar and reading through it will definitely be an eye-pleasing experience as it has been for me.

In the month of May, DPS Sharjah hosted the Hugs Day Camp under the patronage of the SAATHI Foundation. Our students befriended and entertained autistic children who were more than eager to be around the countless new faces around them. Seeing our children learn to accept people who are  different was a very heartwarming experience and it showed us exactly how mature our children are.

DPS is definitely on its way to creating a sensitive world community. With students who are able, hardworking, honest and confident like ours it has become a joy to educate these young minds.
