DPS Sharjah Basketball teams (Girls Seniors & Girls under 13years) won the prestigious Indian Basketball League tournament organized by the Indian Basketball Society UAE held from 29^th April to 10^th June 2011 at Salah Aldeen Indoor Stadium, Dubai.

In the final matches DPS Senior Girls defeated  Lifebuoy Jaguars Basketball Club, Dubai in the women section and Our Own Bullets, Dubai in the Girls under 13 years category. Our Senior and Junior teams defeated Red Events, Dubai and DPS Dubai in the Semi finals.

Juliet Johny of Gr.XI has been adjudged as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and Joannu Ann Varghese of Gr.XI has secured the Player of the final match award. In the Junior Girls category Shria Sadhu of Gr.IX secured the Most Promising Player of the tournament award.

Our Boys Basketball team secured the 2^nd Runner up position in the Men section by defeating Abudhabi Indians, Eurostar Eagles, Dubai and EPM Stars Dubai in the preliminary matches. Kunal Vohra of DPS secured the Top scorer of the tournament award.
