DPS Sharjah Basketball Girls, Cricket Boys and Table Tennis Boys & Girls performed exceedingly well to grab the Overall Championship of Skyline Sports Festival, organized by the Skyline University College Sharjah for the 7^th consecutive year.

Table Tennis Boys won the team championship by defeating India International School Sharjah in the finals and the Girls team won Runner up in the team championship. Divyashri Sankaran of Gr.10 and Aditya Singh of Gr.7 won the Individual championships where as Ananya Shankar of Gr.9 and Moksh Taneja of Gr. 7 won the Runner up in individuals. Winners and Runner ups also has been awarded the Most Valuable Player and Most Promising Player respectively.

Basketball Girls team won the finals by defeating St. Mary’s Catholic school Dubai by 35 – 8. Dyutika K of Gr.11 has been adjudged as the Most Valuable player of the tournament.

DPS Sharjah Cricket team won the tournament by defeating the Arab Unity School Dubai. Harikrishnan of Gr.12 has been adjudged as Man of the series whereas Devnath Menon of Gr.10 grabbed the Man of the Match award.

DPS Sharjah Cricket team boys under 13 years won the NSL Sport360 Cricket League Northern Emirates championship and qualified for Inter Zonals to be held at Dubai.

Rushabh Bhutt of Gr.8 J won 2 Man of the Match awards, Agnibala of Gr.8L, Rishabh Mathur of 7 K and Aditya Manglani of 7H won 1 Man of the match each in the tournament.

DPS Sharjah Basketball Girls senior team won the recently concluded CBSE UAE Cluster championship by defeating the last 2 years' winners and host Gems Our Own English HS Dubai in the finals by 41 - 32. Dyutika K of Gr. 11 secured the Best Player of the tournament award. Girls’ team also won the Saintz Basketball tournament and Skyline Sports Festival by defeating St. Mary’s Catholic School Dubai in the finals. Vedika Sanjay of Gr.11 has been adjudged as the Most Valuable Player in Saintz Sports Festival.

DPS Table Tennis girls under 16 year’s team consists of Divyashri Sankaran, Ananya Manoj, Ananya Sankar and Nityashri Sankaran won the CBSE UAE Cluster championship organized by the India International School Sharjah. DPS Boys under 14 year’s team consists of Aditya Singh, Moksh Taneja, Prakhar Nagpal and Lakshmi Sai Srikar won the CBSE UAE Cluster championship 2015. Table Tennis Boys under 19 year’s team secured Runner up position in the UAE Clusters.

DPS Sharjah Basketball Boys team won the 2^nd Sajjad Memorial Basketball tournament organized by the Millennium School Dubai. DPS defeated Westminster School Dubai in the finals by 52 – 48. Mohd Zain of DPS Sharjah secured the Most Promising Player of the tournament.

Football Boys under 16 year’s team wins NSL Sport360 Northern Emirates tournament and qualified for Inter zonal to be held at Dubai.

Abhishek Chauhan of 10 K and Suhaib Nadeem of 10 G secured 2 Man of the Match awards each. Mayank Gupta of 9 I and Safiullah Syed of 11 M grabbed a Man of the Match award each. Shuhaib Nadeem was the top scorer of the tournament with 7 goals.

DPS Sharjah Volleyball girls under 19 years team won the Runner up position in the recently concluded CBSE UAE Cluster Volleyball Championship organized by the DPS Dubai.

DPS Sharjah Girls under 19 years Chess team consisting of Samyuktha Harikrishnan, Sneha Ann Santosh, Subbulakshmi of Gr.10 and Minakshi Ashok of Gr.11 won the Runner up position in the CBSE UAE Cluster Chess Championship organized by the Springdale’s School Dubai.

Principal Mrs.Vandana Marwaha and the other staff members congratulated the winning teams for their exemplary performance.
