Poetry is not just words strung together prettily, it is the expression of all that is good and beautiful in the world. And the Swatantrata poetry competition conducted by the Indian Consulate catered precisely to this very eloquent form of expression.

The theme of this year’s competition was ‘The role of students in the fight against tobacco, alcohol and drugs’. A very prevalent topic that pertained to the current situations we live in, and our students did complete justice to it.
