Scholar Badges are awarded to the top 10% students as an appreciation for their academic excellence. Those who are scholars (80% aggregate) for 7 consecutive years are honored with a gold medal, 6 consecutive years are awarded blue tie, 4 to 5 consecutive years blue badge, for three years green tie with blue stripes, and light green tie with green stripes for scholar for the first time.

The school also offers a system of recognizing the students for their astuteness and dedication shown towards the curriculums. This essentially means that they are rewarded for showing exemplary work in the field of computers, public speaking swimming, cricket, music, quizzing, art, regularity and compassionate personality

Primary Wing Scholar Badge Ceremony 2010

The students of Grades IV and V were once again honoured for their academic excellence. The scholar badge ceremony was held with great enthusiasm on 27th or 28th May 2010 and was attended by parents of their little scholars.

Mrs. Rashmi Nandkeolyar, Principal of DPS Dubai and Mrs. Vandana Marwaha, Principal of DPS Sharjah were the Chief Guests for the occasion.

Headmistress, Ms. Mousumi’s words of encouragement will go a long way for guiding the future of the students.

Primary Wing Scholar Badge Ceremony 2009

The Scholar Badge Ceremony for grades 4 and 5, academic year 2008-2009 was held on 20th and 21st May respectively. Scholar Badge is held to honour students not only for their excellence in academics, but also to recognize the talent of students in fields such as music, dance, sport etc.

It was an honour to have Mr. Calafato, Headmaster Wesgreen School preside over the function on 20th May. Our Principal Vandana Ma'am congratulated all the scholar badge holders, and advised that each one can be a scholar badge holder but all that is required is to spread one's wings.

The Scholar Badge Ceremony of Grade IV & V students of the academic year 2007-2008 was held on 20th and 21st May respectively.Around 450 students were honoured for excellence in academics, co-curricular activities and other qualities.

The first day, the guests of honour were visiting grandparents who blessed everybody with their presence. The Chief Guest for 21st May was Mr Lawrence Hartnett, Principal -Kindergarten Starters. He spoke at length as to how important it is for children to have all round development in order to excel in life. His definition of a TOP student was one who Trusts, Organises and Persists.

It was a moment of great pride for the achievers of Grade IV & V, as they were honoured for excelling in various capacities in the academic year 2006-07.

This year’s function was dedicated to the memory of Vishwanath B. Nair who left us for his heavenly abode. It was a touching moment when Mr. & Mrs. Nair handed over “THE VISHWANATH NAIR TROPHY” bearing their child’s name to Chetan Naik, who reflects Vishwanath’s qualities of compassion, dedication and dependability.
