Sub :  PBTS - An International Benchmark Test based on PISA (Program for International Student Assessment).

Greetings!

In a move to place UAE on the International Map for excellence in education imparted in the region and rank it one of the foremost globally, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister & Vice President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has directed all the schools in the region to conduct the PBTS - PISA based International benchmark test for their Grade 11 students.

Following His Excellency’s directives, the Ministry of Education has instructed all schools to conduct the examination and made it mandatory for all the students to appear for the above examination. The schools have to ensure 100% attendance for the same.

We would like to inform you that this benchmark test is one of most renowned and recognized evaluation parameter for further education. 

The Ministry of Education has appointed the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) to assist with the implementation and administration of the PISA-based Test for Schools (PBTS). The results of PBTS will be available by mid-October 2017.

A letter from ACER, confirming their appointment is attached herewith for your information.

The registration fee for PBTS is AED 225/- which is to be paid latest by 21st May 2017.

Please ensure that your ward is registered for this test within the stipulated time.
