June 4th
2015, was a day of exhilaration for the students and teaching fraternity
of DPS Sharjah by virtue of the visit of our Chairperson, MC, DPS
Sharjah who graced the occasion with his august presence. The other
guests present were our Director, Ali Al Khayal, Mr.P.S.Das Gupta,
Director DPS Sharjah, Ms. Rashmi Nandkeolyar, Principal DPS Dubai and
Ms. Sandhya Awasthi, Principal DPS Academy.
The
euphoric event began with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran.
A teacher – student duo was presented to welcome the guests. The music
band from the primary wing played one of the most famous pieces of the
seventies through which nine moods were depicted.
The
school band presented a song to portray the bond between The United Arab
Emirates and India.
Our principal, Mrs. Vandana Marwaha ensured the official welcome. She
stressed the fact that hard work, boundless energy and relentless
curiosity of the staff and students is the secret behind the success of
DPS Sharjah.
The Hamdan and Sharjah awardees were felicitated. |

Our Pro Vice Chairman reminded the dipsites that there are a lot of
obstacles to achieve success and the winner is the one who takes it
along – This makes DPS Sharjah unique in the field of education.
Sri.
Pramod Grover highlighted the fact that 21st
century world is super competitive and DPS Sharjah is geared to meet the
needs of the generation. He gave the accreditation of this success to
the Principal, Mrs. Vandana Marwaha and Pro Vice Chairman, Mr. Dinesh
Kothari. Sir praised the fact that DPS Sharjah has developed a culture
and working style of its own which keeps it unique.
The presence of the dignitaries, teachers and students added colour to
the event. |
