"RUSTIC RHYTHM OF INDIA"

“We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams. We are the dancers. We create dreams.”

Hours, days and weeks of practice and finally came the day. The Annual Day of Grade 3, DPS Sharjah, Primary Wing was held on the 13^th of November, 2014.

 Dancavaganza 2014 was indeed a spectacular event. The students of Grade 3 presented a wide range of colourful dance performances on the theme ‘Folk dances of India’. From the mesmerizing beauty of Kashmir to the boat race in the tranquil stretches of emerald backwaters of Kerala, children brought forth a dramatic presentation of their states. The audience witnessed a cultural tour of India with the rhythmic folk dances from across the various states of India. India’s unity in diversity was conceptualized through these vibrant folk dances which captivated the crowd.

 The loud applause and wild screams of joy from the audience was a testimony to the fact that the event was a huge success.
